So, it is only through mental health that we can attain physical well-being. Most of the time, we don’t notice the fluctuations or issues in mental health, or if we do, we don’t know what to do about it. However, now, awareness regarding this is increasing to some extent.

Everyone is now aware that mental health is the most important thing. And across the world, people are turning to Indian classical art forms for mental well-being. The art forms include all types of Indian music, dance and Yoga. It is heart-warming to see that many parents are encouraging their children to take up these art forms. Artists need to come forward to convey the importance of these art forms to people.

Indian dance forms like Kathak, Bharatanatyam, and Kuchipudi are extremely valuable in giving all-round physical exercise and mental satisfaction. We also boast of a rich drama heritage. Drama can help in increasing self-awareness, better expression of emotions, etc. Of course, the best among the art forms, something that is closest to our hearts, is music. The unique importance of Yoga
The popularity of, and awareness regarding Yoga has grown exponentially over the past few years. It has spread globally. In fact, Yoga is a gift that Indian culture gave to the world but we ourselves did not realise its importance nor did we accept it as a part of our lifestyle.
We have included Yoga in our routine for a few years now. Just as I have complete faith in riyaz for throat health, I have complete faith in Yoga for physical fitness. Anyone can practise Yoga easily. It is a universal experience that those who practise Yoga regularly find it easier to manage stress. Many studies too have proved the same.
Eager to participate in the Pune event
Maharashtra has a very rich musical tradition. Legendary singers like Pt Bhimsen Joshi, Lata Mangeshkar, Kishori Amonkar, Dr Prabha Atre and many more have graced this land with their presence. We are grateful that we are going to perform at such a venue. We will try to present to the fans the same music that gives us happiness and satisfaction.
